Local Council

The local council here, Rural City of Wangaratta have prepared information for the business and community and their services available on their website. Updates are also printed in the local newspaper and enquiries are still welcomed by telephone.

Local Library

Are offering a terrific range of online services from a Click and Collect Service, an Online Book Club and StoryTime for the little ones and more. Most of these updates are made via their Facebook page.

Local Digital Hub

Wangaratta’s Digital Hub are still busy supporting people to get connected by telephone.

State Library

Local Hospital

North East Health (Wangaratta’s public hospital) have continued to developed their TeleHealth over recent years. https://www.northeasthealth.org.au/telehealth/

During COVID-19 they are providing Regular Updates via Facebook and the local paper.

Local Neighbourhood House

Pangerang Community House have increased their online and phone presence while they are unable to keep their physical doors open.

Local PreSchools

Some preschools are offering storytelling and zoom time for little ones to see the familiar faces of their carers and friends. Some have prepared activity packs for parents to collect and take home.

Local General Stores

Some General Stores and other food outlets began stocking more staple food locally saving many unnecessary travel into the ‘city’ Wangaratta.

Local Producers

Setting up an online shop for a small producer can be time consuming, expensive and overwhelming. You maybe able to collaborate with another local producer who already has an online shop to sell your products.
